display? i only know the resolution (800x600).

just fine. But the 2.4.16-k6.deb kernel package can't find any of my
cards. The i82365.o wount load saying "PCIC probe: not found".
The README file for the 2.4 kernels says I have to upgrade my cardmgr

I have run the configuring-script from the gdm-chooser menu to apply a
diffrent looking to my login screen. I only changed to pictures, nothing
more. After that the chooser told me that no x-servers or xdcmp (?) where
