Hi all, I did something very stupid (it was an accident...) I changed all the file permissions on /etc with chmod -R 777 * Is there any way to restore the default, correct permissions ? Thank you for your help. Mathias

APM -- wmapm and user-initiated sleep/suspend?

I've got APM configured, and can initiate a sleep/suspend from root. I can't do this as an unprivileged user either from the command line or via wmapm (a WindowMaker dock app). Attempting same from command line: $ apm -S Cannot open APM device: Permission denied Suggestions? Thanks. -
