I just got a brand new D-Link dfe-670txd pcmcia
network card and I do not know how to get it to work
in Linux. I am using kernel 2.4.7 with no pcmcia

some info at http://www.tce.co.jp/linux There you'll find also info on a
mailing list specific on Linux-on-Toshiba issues and that is read by a lot
of Toshiba users and hackers...

I tried what you suggested and disabled hot-plug
support in kernel 2.4.7 and made USB into a module.
On boot I get one low beep when the PCMCIA Card
Services start but still no network function.

I tried to install pcmcia network card 3com (3ccfe575ct) with 2.4.7
kernel and it's hangs. i tried pcmcia-cs 3.1.27 pakage also and it
also didn't help.With 2.2.18 kernel i have no problem with this card.
maybe anyone known how to solve this problem ?
