anyone else have trouble getting the serial port on a thinkpad 560e to work?
the standard PC io port and irq values don't seem to work.

I can't find any information on what chipset ituses, and accordingly,
no compatibility information.
Anyone using the Dell Inspiron with wireless LAN?

2.2.18. Everything work OK (including ltmodem, the new version 5.78D),
but when I insert an Xircom CardBus Ethernet 10/100 (CBE2-100) the
computer hang. I upgraded to the last pcmcia-cs from unstable (using
apt-get source)

card(detects as being a Mach 64 LM). Running debian 2.2(potato) and XF86
4.0.2.
I have successfully installed and configured X to run at 1024x768 8bit
color using the ati driver. I have, however had this system running in

I have a Dell CPx, either the H or the J series, I'm not sure. This baby is sweet!
I'm running stable 2.2.18 and it's extremely stable (imagine that!). This system also
uses the maestro3 and with ALSA sound works nicely. With both batteries in the bays
the meter says I have over 10 hours on
