I'm getting the following errors in /var/log/messages following a
suspend/restore cycle with a TuxTops Amethyst 20U (brand new). Problem
is resolved on reboot, but

Yesterday I compiled a 2.4 kernel using make-kpkg. All seems to have gone
well. I used the pcmcia features in the kernel, and chose not to separately
compile pcmcia modules. All seems to work well, I boot fine, start up

metal plates. You have to press down pretty hard to get a solid docking
connection. (Think like doing CPR. It's a hard metal case, it won't break.)

I've got potato 2.2r2 running on a Quantex laptop.
Whenever I insert my ethernet card (Linksys PCMPC100), the drivers for
it load successfully but pump fails to configure it.
In /var/log/daemon.log I see the following:
