I wrote earlier concerning a screen flicker while using 'x' on my thinkpad.
It seems adding the lines BlankTime 0, SuspendTime 0 & OffTime 0 to the
display section of my XF86Config file corrected the problem. I hopethis may
help others, although I am not completely certain what these commands do
I'm looking to get the best Xircom card I can that will be supported
without the pain's of the 3com 3CCFE575's. I've tested a Xircom Cardbus
Ethernet II 10/100 (CBE2-100BTX), which showed up with a tulip driver,
to work fine, but would like to know of any good/bad wtih the CardBus

I've got a 16bit RealPort Ethernet/Modem combo card, which works just fine
for the most part (on a Toshiba 490CDT). The ethernet is practically
flawless, but sometimes the modem disconnects. However my guess is that's
the ISP that's doing the disconnecting, not the modem.

Today I've updated my system, and there were also a new pcmcia package.
After compiling the new modules, my ethernet card is no longer configured
(it worked before).
As I've seen in /var/log/messages the card has been found, and when I

It's so easy, it figures
I still remember spending 12 hours trying to figure out how to make my
AWE64 sound card work on my desktop. Finally, I found an obscure
suggestion to change "dma1=5" to "dma16=5". It figures!
