hi
I've installed xfree ver 3.3.6-6, still having problems though. Have
included the output from running 'startx' (thorough "startx &> startxout").
Would be grateful for any assistance ...

it's good to periodically download Contents-.gz
and do
zgrep Contents-.gz
in such situations
(or use web site search engine if you want to save disk space)

HI all
I am in the process of setting up a Satellite Pro 490xCDT with debian
potato. All is X and my network card are both working so I'm basically
okay.
That said, I get the above error when I boot. In context:
dmesg:
Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.1.8
kernel build: 2.2.14 unknown
options:

correctly) and that your window-manager can't find a working X-Server to

What does SIOCADDRT mean, I get SIOCADDRT : Invalid argument at boot up?
Hello all,
I have a Sony pcg-505tr which I'm very pleased with. I have however run
into two probelms that I haven't quite figured out yet.
First is with X. Using an external monitor proves to be quite difficult
