I tried to upgrade my pcmcia support to 3.1.[78] but my upgrade was half
success. Usually I'll use ethernet card which still works fine after upgrade.
My modem card stop working. It is detected, kernel know the port and irq. But
there is no irq showing in /proc/interupts. From cat command, ie

After trying everything still I can't go inline with my Sony Vaio 505TX.
So, I guess the question now is if somebody have the same computer,
installed Debian successfully, and made the modem work.
Some people here, having a different laptop advised on how they did with
their PC.

Having failed to get past resc1440tecra.bin and
resc1440.bin (boot failed...) during installation of
Debian, I am installing RedHat 6.1 using HTTP.
Please take a look at the 3 pieces of information
below:
1) The window on the laptop (on which I am trying to
install RH6.1) says:
