Hi, I've been using 2.6.32-5-amd64 (on squeeze) for a while, and haven't seen any problems with VLC (the only program from your list I'm using). Generally I find 2.6.32-5-amd64 stable enough to soon remove 2.6.32-3-amd64. I may try hibernation, but I haven't used it before - so that won't mean

Hello, currently I use the kernels 2.6.26-2-amd64 (from lenny) or the kernel 2.6.30-bpo.1-amd64 on my laptop acer aspire wlmi 5102 but on sid now is only the kernel 2.6.32-5-amd64 (2.6.32-15) and on experimental, there is the kernel 2.6.34-1-amd64. With the kernel 2.6.30-bpo.1-amd64 all works
