In debian sid i can see ipw2200-source 1.0.8-3.
In stable kernel 2.6.18.1 from kernel.org I can see ipw2200 1.1.2
Intel has 1.2.0.

I copied the firmware 3.0, ipw2200-fw-3.0.tgz to /lib/fimware as
