i bought a iomega zip cd 650 drive it used to work wonderfully until some one of my kids messed up my computer now it wont work for nothing tried reinstalling but still doesn't work what should i dowhen i try to record it says no supported recorder found. please help me

Now that X-Fonts are solved, my everlasting
Quest is the CD Burning one !
1/ Good: With Kernel 2.4 no more problem with scsi-storage
2/ Baad: -scanbus OK, "Sorry, no CD/DVD-Recorder" (mouarf..)
I will NOT reinstall Windows !
