Hi again, Thanx for all your replies, if I'm summarizing it it seems that the notebook is not the best I can get, but as I've checed it at mobilix.org (thanx for it) - video works without problems - ethernet also - modem using linmodem drivers ??? - sound card probably also using 2.3.x se
