I am installing Woody 3.0 on an IBM Thinkpad 240.
I have mounted my external cd rom drive ok, but I am having trouble
selecting the directory on the cd rom to install packages.
I have tried debian/dists/woody/main/binary-i386 but it won't work.
What am I doing wrong?

I attempted to upgrade to Woody 3.0 but I still need to update the kernel.
After upgrading it disabled my cd rom or PCMCIA port. My cdrom is not
getting any power to it and in dselect it says the access method area is
already locked? How can I reactivate my cd rom? I presume it has just

Yeah I tried to Upgrade my desktop with dselect instead of apt-get and dpkg
And I trashed my system :-( I finally got it working enough to boot so I can
recover my files, but unless someone can show me a better way, I will need to
reinstall from scratch then do a restore
