Unfortunately the problem could not be solved, when I try to specify the
amount of memory as a boot-Option, the system will not start at all.
I have returned the memory and I think I will work with 92 MB mem in
future ;o)

I had similar problem. with Dual 128MB modules. It's a density issue
with the RAM modules. Thinkpads are very sensitive to the type of RAM
you put in. You need to use *REAL* 66Mhz RAM.kingston.com Sells
the exact modules you need. Unfortunately, they are expensive. Look on
Ebay or pric

Try forcing the matter with "mem=" on the command line. It may be that you
can get Linux to use more memory
