Hi, I've been using 2.6.32-5-amd64 (on squeeze) for a while, and haven't seen any problems with VLC (the only program from your list I'm using). Generally I find 2.6.32-5-amd64 stable enough to soon remove 2.6.32-3-amd64. I may try hibernation, but I haven't used it before - so that won't mean
