The problem is that there are different "Mobility" chipsets. Some are supported by the r128 dri driver, others only work with mach64. IMHO, the rage mobility-P is only supported by the mach64 driver. Check your documentation for the true name (with '-P', '-LM', whatever...) How do you know if you

Heh, i should have kept my big mouth shuth :) 3D DRI acceleration for the Mach64 is pre pre alfa, and not do-able for most of us mortals. Join the dri-devel sourceforge mailinglist for more information, the last few days Mach64 has been given some extra impulse, but it will probably take some time
