it is not a p/s2 it is a p/n and i was cleaning it the roller and the little black part fell out with a spring on the top of my mouse a roller is also there can you help me put it back together i dont have money to buy another one thanks carrie at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

You're on a debian mailing list. If this problem happens on a system where
debian is installed, it may be a problem with gpm. Run gpmconfig again and
choose the appropriate PS/2 (and not 'P/S2') mouse for your system.
Eventually, it will work.
