As I understand it, mine has the Intersil Prism III chipset. I guess I need to make sure that that is the case. TOm I used the debian wrapper to install and build them. I have not really had any problems out of it. Only down side to the Dlink wireless is that they change chipsets between G65

I have a DWL G650 working under debian (Sarge) 2.6.x using the MADWIFI drivers. I used the debian wrapper to install and build them. I have not really had any problems out of it. Only down side to the Dlink wireless is that they change chipsets between G650 and G650+ for example. Cross your fi

I used this card for almost 5 years on a IBM 760XL Thinkpad with Redhat 5.2 - 7.3, Mandrake 7 - 9, Suse 7 - 8, and Debian (something like 1.3). I don't remember it giving any problems with any distributions. I do remember a slight problem when I upgraded a 2.2 kernel to 2.4 because then the card
