I use woody on my PC, and I've got XFree86 4.2.1 on it, here are some links:

(I didn't try the 4.3 backport, because of dependances of OpenOffice.o

You have more confidence in the mailing list and google's relationship
than I, personally I would expect at least a day lag on it, likely 2-3 to
a week. :)

Yes. Upgrade to sid or testing version. Do not use framebuffer unless
