Well yes, the truth is that I was just using the XF86Config-4 file
that Thomas Marquart's posted:)... Anyway, I tested removing that line,
and here I am with the same problem, but no error messages that can hint
me a solution!!:(

Hi,
I just got an R40 and plan on installing Debian on it. I know that
on their support database section that they
have a section on APM for laptops. Maybe this could be of some help to you...
I will be doing the install in a week or two .
Please keep me posted on how you do.
