I have still the unsolved problem with my Thinkpad T30.
Doesn't matter what I do or what I use ACPI or APM always after a
successfull suspend to ram everything works fine but the next suspend
freezes the whole laptop. Does somebody experience the same Problems and
could give me some hints fo
I have a 2.4.20 kernel with apmd working on the Thinkpad R31 I bought
last week after putting "apm-broken_psr" in my kernel options in
/boot/grub/menu.lst and removing most of the battery montoring
programs I tried.
I am now trying to get the 2.4.21 kernel working. I used 2.4.20's
.config but now

ACPI doesn't support suspend. It might cure standby (whatever that
