Xircom CardBus Ethernet II (32 Bits) 10/100

Hi folks, Iam got one Toshiba Tecra 8000 with built-in modem (works fine) + Xircom CardBus Ethernet II (32 Bits - 10/100). Iam running one Slackware 8.1 with Kernel 2.4.18 with PCMCIA support but when i start my PCMCIA card my system has freeze. Like it: ./rc.pcmcia start (i listen two beeps) ifcon
