my konqueror here runs with ssl-support. install "kdelibs3-crypto"
(which should include the packages kdebase-crypto and libssl0.9.6).

that depends on your browser. if i recollect correctly, installing the
package "mozilla-psm" should enable ssl-support for mozilla/galeon.

should configure, compile and install the kernel from /usr/src/linux
first and then retry loading the module...

and configure and save your new mouse-settings there. if you cannot
configure your mouse as needed, you should tell dpkg-reconfigure not to
take care of the package xserver-xfree86 anymore (it is the first question
you get asked when running the aforementioned command) and configure X by
xf86cfg.
