mouse pointer & xfree86 4.3.0

probably wildly off topic but... when I updated XFree86 to 4.3 (thanks to http://people.debian.org/~mmagallo/packages/xfree86/i386/ ./) my mouse cursor/pointer changed and is very hard to see!! how do I change the mouse cursor in XFree...? or should I be poking around in KDE? something I coul
