I finally managed to install Potato in my think pad. However I haven't managed to install sound (ALSA). How do you figure out all the required parameters (IRQ's, I/Os, etc.)? In other PCs I rely on pnpdump to give me hints on these values but in the 560X it can't find any pnp card at all. Does an

I decided to try the boot floppy set (2.2.5) as well and run into the same problem: Couldn't configure the network. The file /sbin/cardmgr is missing. Even fixing this (I did) I couldn't configure my Network card. I will follow your suggestion and try the slink floppy set. Thank you. -- Pedro

I got a hold on the abovc portable and want to install the current frozen there. I can't find any boot disks (tectra or something like that) for portables though. Can anyone give me a hand on getting started with this portable? I've installed Debian several times before but this is the first time
