Something like listing all installed packages on notebook.
Move this list to desktop and start installation of same packages.

Usually it means that you have wrong root partition. Try correct
root=/dev/hd... boot parameter.

I want thanks everybody who helped me bring Debian on my laptop.
Debian is exactly what I was looking for. I'm runing SID distribution
and it run really well.
For installation I mounted CD images via loop from my USB
drive. Only problem is that standard kernel have limit for loop devices
set to 8
ere depedency on libpcap0 is hooked?
I tried also 'debooostrap --exclude libpcap0 ...' checking went fine but
stoped at postinstall scripts.
Where can I remove dependency (or add package) libpcap0?
Some idea what I'm doing wrong?
