Its fairly easy. if you have put in any information in
/etc/networks/interfaces, then take it out,
leaving the localhost information in there only.

I just want to thank Glen for asking that question on how to configure your
network card
on PCMCIA, cos I've just got mine to work - DHCP et al. I am, for once, a
very happy bunny!

Hi all,
I have a Compaq LTE5100 laptop with 24MB of RAM, and have installed Debian
Linux 2.2. Since I know only the basics of Linux, I am struggling with a
problem to do with a swappable CD-ROM drive/Floppy drive. I had to do an
install of 2.2 using the Vanilla version using Floppies. Now I can
