Just don't get a dell cpx, apperently xine doesn't work on these machines? It
will play audio, but not DVD. I've tried and asked a few people and that's
the only answer they've been able to come up with?

have missed but it seems that PNP is still not
installed yet I have installed pcmcia-cs with pnp enabled so I am not sure
what I have missed.

I have an IBM ThinkPad 600 and currently I have to use the windows utility to
disable the IR port and enable the serial
port. Once in a great while on reboot the system will restore it's bios
settings back to default and the IR port is
turned back on. I then have to go through the process again
