Hi here is my strange problem. Generally the xscreensaver is running
very well on may laptop. But sometimes the screen turns black(it is
not off, as I can see the "background light") and I could never turn
it back. I have tried the Fn keys, switching to console terminal but
nothing happened. I gues

I have been using Debian(testing) on my laptop for a while and has
successfully fix ACPI problem. Although I can use "Fn" keys to adjust
the LCD brightness to the maximum, I still feel it is not as bright as
it is in Ms-win. Recently I tried Knoppix's Live CD and it is better -
brighter.
