this are the outputs for lspci and lsmod. I do not see any multimedia device maybe
because of the bridge. In Windows you can see the sound card, but not in Linux, so
Ithink that one of this bridges might be the "multimedia" section.with the pnpdump it
says no boards found

not show a sound device because it has a pci/isa bridged sound card (is this

cdt)se supone que teiene un puente pci-isa en el que esta la tarjeta de sonido, ya
habiamos pursto varias distros para saber el porque no funcionaba el dispositivo de

I've got the same thing, but happens (in my case) that /dev/dsp doesn't
exist!!! or where should I look? now i'm at the kernel compilation and if
nothing happens install alsa. is there something eles (besides compiling) we

he logrado hacer funcionar el ambiente grafico de una portatil toshiba
satellite 4020 cdt, pero no importa que haga (casi) siempre usa una resolucion
de 800x600, le cargo el xfree-svga server y se des...se desconfigura
