I have that driver, but I heard it was set up for Redhat distros. I also
have ltmodem-0.9.8-1.tar. The advice I got from someone else on this list
was that it is a loadable module and works fine. I have actually never
tried it since I use a pcmcia card for an ISDN router.

news is that you can download the diver from Lucent's
website. Afterwards, you should be able to use the modem. I have a Toshiba
2100cds. If you want some more help contact off the list

rd. Any ideas?
I used the boot disk for Omoikane Linux. It is a japanese distro but has
English option. I install the base system, then edit
/etc/apt/sources.list then finish installing.
try http://www.omiokane.co.jp/

,
haven't been installed yet. I believe that hwclock and date commands should
help but I haven't got them to work. and no man pages :-(
Question: how can I set my bios clock to this century? or a workaround for
the future time stamp error from tar?
Thanks for any help

I'm having trouble setting my time on a Toshiba 2100cds. I did a clean
install of potato a week ago and the time reads Jan 1 1990? (1) How do I
change this? (2) How do I keep the time accurate when I turn off it off?
Thanks for any help
