Hi Florian, Those bars were 100%. I installed the rest of the packages
that has to do with alsa, it added alsaplayer to the menu, I restarted
alsa and now it's working.

I need advise on how to make the sound and modem work.
'modprobe mvave' came up with

I'm trying to install 2.4.18-bf24. When select ati for video driver X
would crash with no screens found. I had to choose vesa for X to fire
up. It seems like the ati driver doesn't cover tha model installed on
