Hi. Curious I was. So I decided to test ACPI on my Inspiron 81k. Well, the stuff works better, than I thought. ;) Now I'd like to know how to tell the system to suspend, when closing the lid? Unfortunately there is no command like 'apm -s'. I'm currently using 2.4.17 with patches from sourceforge.

(Dell i8100) Suspend to Disk & Wakeup

Hi. Suspend to Disk works fine. But when the Laptop should "awake", the eepro100 causes errors. - I compiled it in the kernel and I made a module from it. The errormessage is: eepro100: wait_for_cmd_done timeout! There is no possibillity to unload/remove the module. Is there a resolution on this

Hi. As I get my new Inspirion 8100 next week, I tried to collect as much information about it, as possible. ;) As I understood the sources, this program is intended for Suspend-to-[RAM|Disk]. Unfortunately I can't find it on Dell's pages|ftp. Is there any other tool, I can use? Or at least anoth
