Hi. Curious I was. So I decided to test ACPI on my Inspiron 81k. Well, the stuff works better, than I thought. ;) Now I'd like to know how to tell the system to suspend, when closing the lid? Unfortunately there is no command like 'apm -s'. I'm currently using 2.4.17 with patches from sourceforge.

Hi. I'd like to watch DVD's either on LCD of my Laptop or on TV. Unfurtunately I couldn't figure out how? I was able to see my X-Desktop on TV. But only in 640x320 and in this case Twinview was disabled. I mean, I can decide to watch 640x on TV oder 1600x1200 on LCD. Did anybody get this work? A

Hi. Suspend to Disk works fine. But when the Laptop should "awake", the eepro100 causes errors. - I compiled it in the kernel and I made a module from it. The errormessage is: eepro100: wait_for_cmd_done timeout! There is no possibillity to unload/remove the module. Is there a resolution on this
