Which usb_modeswitch version do you have? This device is supported by
default since usb-modeswitch-data version 20140327-1, and should be

In any case, the -H option won't work for this ne

OK. (Don't worry)
(I realized a bit later that there was a typo.)
lsusb gives (among others) :
Bus 007 Device 010: ID 12d1:157d Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.
Now just trying to work out how to use that knowledge in usb_modeswitch, ...

Sorry, typo: lsusb should work.

RTFM.
lsubs will get you product ID and vendor ID.
usb_modswitch -H -P 0 -V 0 will then work, you will of course
need to substitute what you get from lsusub.

If this:
root@gone:/home/hv# usb_modeswitch -H
it says:
No default vendor/product ID given. Aborting.
If this
root@gone:/home/hv# usb_modeswitch -J
it says:
usb_modeswitch: invalid option -- 'J'

On Thu, 2/26/15, Petr Kubánek wr
usb_modeswitch -H or usb_modeswitch -J, see usb_modeswitch man page.
Then it is the same as other GPRS modems.
