The kernel used in the Debian isntall I used I believe is 2.6.7/8, The kernel in Knoppix is 2.6.12, and the custom kernel that I compiled... which doesn't really work is a 2.6.17. I'm sure its something stupid I'm forgetting, but I'll report back as soon as I figure out what it is. I won't be able
