my laotop is the asus s5c, which haven't minipci wireless card in it.
so i use a wg511 pcimia wireless card which can work well in linux
instead.but after i installed it sucessfully, i found wg511(as eth1) can
not work together with the original realtek8139(as eth0) link. if i want

looked good for me, the problem is your SATA controller which isn't supported
by the installer kernel.

I had tried before rc1, rc2, Sarge DVD and netinst cd but none of them with
either linux26 nor expert26 mode detected the disk for partitioning.
Any idea?

Hi,
I know this is not quite laptop-related (and I apologize sincerely for
asking anyway), but why does the GNOME splashscreen stay on top of the
screen until I dismiss it with a mouse click? On my Debian/testing this
problem appeared after switching to GNOME 2.12.
