I don't think you can govern that property with gmail. It is set by
default and after having a quick look I don't see the option to alter it.

Sure, he made some mistakes, but
IMO you have some things to learn yourself:
1) to not abuse somebody who probably does not know better and/or made
an honest mistake.
Pointing out their mistakes is OK
What a big fucker you are !
Indeed, you need a lot of help to:
1) Learn how to ask for help (politeness, efficiency, accuracy)
2) Learn how to do that in proper English language
3) Learn how not to send the same crappy e-mail three times,
especially when addressing to many people.

Just so the list archives have correct info... hotplug blacklisting is
only half of the fix... you'd also have to keep discover v1 (the default
version of discover on Sarge in the installer, but discover2 is
available?!) from tryi

Following the Matthew suggestion I just do this:
apt-get install libesd0
This installation request unistall libesd-alsa0 and install libesd0.
Now, my sound is ok!
Thanks all specially Matthew.

The package libesd0 is the oss version. OSS is the sound system
from the 2.4 kernels. However it is being replaced by the ALSA
sound system in the 2.6 kernels. The package for ALSA is

The pointer on this C600 is driving me crazy. As if I needed the push.
The "eraser head" portion keeps getting keystrokes from adjacent keys
and the touch-pad portion thinks it is being used whenever I wave my
thumb over it.
Also, infrequently the pointer dies. Restarting X doesn't fix it,

Hi,
I was just wondering about the best way to clone the LCD display of my
laptop onto an external CRT. I have an i855GM graphic chipset and I
use the i810 driver.
I had it worked using i855crt[1] but overlay does not work. The
documentation of i855crt contains a patch against XFree86 source code

It can be a hotplug problem. Do you have the firmware located in
/usr/lib/hotplug/firmware directory ?
Umm, that's bad - its empty. First big clue, eh? ;
