I've just finished installing sarge on my laptop, however X crashes. I
found http://www.probo.com/timr/savagemx.html on the net, but i) I'm not
sure what I'm supposed to do, and ii) I don't know whether this is still
up to date.

It'll probably help if you would also post the X log file. It's
probably /var/log/XFree86.0.log. Additionally, the X config file may
also be useful (/etc/X11/XF86Config-4).
