I've got a Realtek AC'97 soundcard in my laptop - running Debian Sid on
2.6.3, I've got the correct ALSA modules in my kernel, and I can play a
CD - however I can't play anything else...
mpg123 just says: Can't open default sound device!

A new variant of the W32.Mydoom (W32.Novarg) worm spread rapidly through the
Internet.
Anti-virus vendor Central Command claims that 1 in 45 e-mails contains the
MyDoom virus.
The worm also has a backdoor Trojan capability.
