how do I go about downgrading gcc3.3 to gcc2.95?
my system reports that I have both installed, but for kernel compiles
gcc3.3 causes errors
apt-cache shows that I have both 3.3 & 2.95 installed, is there a way I
can force make to use 2.95?

for some reason my wireless network card has fallen over under linux. I
am running debian kernel bf24
the sensitivity in iwconfig has changed from 1/3 to 1/2724 (or
something similar) and the cell readout is constantly changing.
dmesg returns that i am using orinococs 0.9b
the card
I type startx and i get up something with a debian
logo and a few windows but as fast as i move the mouse or touch the touchboard
it gets down into the left corner and fiddles around fast as i have

standard vesa one on the Ati rage mobility M1 (mach64 variant)?
I tried the Ati mach64 one. It responds and fbset prints the right
resolution and refresh rate. The only problem is that I don't actually
get anything on screen.

trouble getting PCMCIA to work. All permutations that I have tried
have resulted in:
- cardmgr starts and logs that it is watching 2 slots
- neither inserting my network card, nor having it present at boot,

I'm running Deb 2.4.18-bf24 on a Toshiba 2140CDS and I'm trying to get
hostap running.
I have hostap installed, but when I boot with a Compaq WL100 inserted it
recognises the WL100, it's light flashes and then the tosh hangs at:

i got linux kernel 2.6.0-test4 running on my tecra s1 laptop, and i've
