open a connection at boot time. I said no, so it said I can start the

You need to load the module for the Ethernet Express Professional (Intel
Chipset!) called 'eepro100'
Yours should be the same like mine!

it happened to me once (IBM p200mhz), but when I replaced my old simms at
70ns with 80ns (the new ones had more memory), I had to set that up at
startup not via system and all worked.

This kernel recognizes the remainder of the RAM, but when I was running
2.2.20 I had to add:

to lilo.conf.
