I just installed debian via the net (media-less install) on my iBook
(purchased in August this year). I have separate partitions for OS X
and OS 9. When I rebooted after installing debian, I just get a blank
black screen. I can boot into the other operating systems by pressing
the option

800 MB HD, but I preferd to install this HD into an PC.
Another idea would be to link your Laptop with an other
PC with a nullmodem cable (serial) or a laplink cable

to use a GSM modem is like to use a GSM mobilphone first the input of
your PIN needet. All webpages that I found with
google "Nokia Cardphone PIN"
are saying, that disabling of the PIN is needed to use the Cardphone.
Unhappyly my GSM-provider does not allow to disable the PIN :-(
