hi,
had this laptop running RH73 with sound working, no prob.
switched to sid, and lspci doesnt show any info about the sound card.
of cource modprobe tells me to go to hell (no hardware).
settings in the bios are the same, didnt touch anything since it last worked
with RH.

Hi,
I am running testing on my iBook2 and the mouse freezes every now and
then. I am told this is a known kernel bug and reloading a certain module will
correct it. Does anyone know which module?
I have tried reloading mousedev or reloading X or both but the only thing
to clear it is a reboot.

I lost my WinME pre-installation on the notebook (vfat or fat32, i don't
know) when resizing it with Partition magic to get space for my linux
installation... very weird how that happened...
WinME can't boot to dos mode any more, so i had to use a boot floppy...
that one gave me 639k of free memory

Have a look at /var/log/XFree86.0.log
It should report what is wrong with your X server.
If you need further help, attach that file to your post.

i used Woody on my Laptop. Sometimes x (kde) started when i typed "startx"
but now i simply get a black screen and the whole systems is unusable.
Searched for any solution but nothing worked. Somebody who know a solution ?
