Hi,
I want to install linux on my IBM Thinkpad 560E. Unfortunately, i don't have
a CD ROM and I'd appreciate any help someone can offer. I've installed linux
before using CD ROMS and had no problems... but i'm lost as to how to
install linux without CDs. I also have a network card in my laptop

What is a good card with these specifications that
works with Debian quite happily.
Currently I am using an old Megahertz XJ1144 modem,
its slow as a dog but works very well with Debian.

I used to have a Panasonic CF61 and it indeed had a SCSI CDROM. I think
it needed a AM53/79C974 driver. But the main disk is IDE.
