I'm reposting this via mail, as linux.debian.laptop doesn't seem to be gatewayd in both directions... This problem has plagued me for quite a while now, but after the most recent pcmcia-cs and pcmcia-modules upgrade I have been unable to fix it. I have a Linksys Network Everywhere NP100 card, but

I just checked up Compaq Presario webpages. There is something called 700 series laptops, which comes with AMD Duron processors. They seem to be cheap.(around $1000) with S3 Savage graphics chip. They have not given details of the size of the display. Anyone having experience running Debian GNU/Lin
