cdrom, I wanted to do a network installation, in which I would install
the packages through the network, instead of off a cd. The problem is I
can't seem to get an ethernet interface up. I have a Linksys Etherfast

kdekillall konqueror
kdekillall is in the kde software development kit.
Konqueror is the only KDE app I run, so this usually works for
me:
$ killall konqueror
$ killall kdeinit
and just in case something slipped past...
$ killall kdesud
If you're running the KDE and need to kill Konqueror, I'd
suggest only using the first one.

I think the pcmcia-modules pcmcia-source work well, just when cardmgr
start the syslog report

I have a custom kernel 2.4.13 with xircom_cb module, and the latest
pcmcia-cs on sid.
The problem is that /etc/pcmcia/config doesn't define xircom_cb. So I had to
define this manually and change the binding from tulip_cb to xircom_cb.
Is there another way I'm supposed to make this work?
