network. I have an AVAYA, which I got working thanks to the help from
people
try 'apt-get install pcmcia-cs'
you'll need to know the chipset of your card, as well as whether or not your
card is pcmcia or cardbus-- check the hardware-HOWTO at http://www.linuxdoc.org/

I have a Compaq LTE5100 laptop with 24MB of RAM, and have installed Debian
Linux 2.2. Since I know only the basics of Linux, I am struggling with a
problem to do with a swappable CD-ROM drive/Floppy drive. I had to do an
install of 2.2 using the Vanilla version using Floppies. Now I can
try 'apt-get install pcmcia-cs'
