compaq internet keys

Does anyone know how to remap the "internet zone" keys on a Compaq 1800? I tried xkeycaps, but it doesn't recognize the key when pressed. xev also does not notice the key being pressed. Thanks.

Thanks to CaT, I have get X working well except login. I cannot login from x-window. When use startx from console, evrything is fine. But when I login from X-window, after I typed the user's name and password, the screen turned to black, then flashed and finally went back to login screen.

hey all, I have nec versa 4000c with a linksys pcmpc100 ethernet pcmcia card. I am using kernel 2.2.17 and the pcmcia source is version _. The computer recognizes my card, but eth0 is not coming up when I do "ifconfig." I did "modprobe pcnet_cs" and then "dmesg" and it says: pcnet_cs: sor

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone knew of a TV tuner that would work on a laptop. I have a Gateway solo 2150 with an ATI Rage Mobility P/M video chip. I looked on the livid site and there are drivers, so all I need is the hardware. I would like a pcmcia device, but if you know of anything else

h I may as well squeeze all the "features" out of my laptop. however this is about it :) So I'm not doing too badly, everything else runs just dicky :) on a resume from either suspend or hibernation for some reason apmd runs through my /etc/apm/event.d twice! I don't know why, but it does.

I have been trying on and off over the past couple of weeks to get DGA to work on my laptop with the latest X 4.0.2. My graphics card is a Trident Cyber 9397, however if I enable the loading of the DGA module (as you can see in my XF86Config) and then run /usr/X11R6/bin/dga as root I get the follo
