Can anybody help with network problem,
I've got a laptop with a Psion Gold Card Netglobal 56K+10/100Mb cardbus
card, 2.2.17 kernel,debian 2.2, PCMCIA 3.1.20. At bootup everything is OK,
the network is up and I can ping my server, FTP, telnet... all seems fine.
But network fails and hangs with er

thanx, the file indeed pointed to the irda-serial device but ttyS0 not the
actual ttyS1.
replaced it, fixed it.
tw, I'v chosen the S35I from Siemens as about the same price as the
Tiemport you sugested.

If you compile a custom kernel, you need to compile the pcmcia modules as well.
cd /usr/src
tar xzf pcmcia-cs.tar.gz
cd modules/pcmcia-cs/debian
