Many thanks to all of you that gave me advice on using the video projector. I finally did get it to work. The trick is that I have to start X, suspend, and then resume after connecting the projector. It doesn't seem to work if I just reboot. I have to resume directly into X. -- Anton Gyllenberg

So, what do you get with "cardctl ident"? And what is written in /etc/pcmcia/config about your card? Mine says: card "3Com ... Fast EtherLink XL" manfid 0x0101, 0x5157 bind "3c575_cb" and cardctl ident gives me: manfid: 0x0101, 0x5157 for mycard See, it is very simple... card "Card Name"
